Conference Description:
The Biennial State of Alabama Transition Conference is a three-day professional and personal development opportunity for those who provide services to youth and young adults with disabilities. It brings together the elements of professional development, policy and programmatic updates, educators and other professional practitioners who participate in providing teaching, training, work preparation and other services to secondary school youth in transition programs. The overall objective of this conference is to provide attendees with the latest updates and additions reflecting the progression of state and national transition policies and practices for youth and young adults with disabilities.

Principal Act Requirements:
Principals and assistant principals may earn up to 16 APLDS clock hours toward the Principal Act high-quality professional learning program requirement. Please note that school administrators will only receive the clock hours for sessions attended. You must scan in during the session to record your attendance.
To receive credit, you must register in PowerSchool Professional Learning (see number below) and follow further instructions provided at the conference.
