2026 CLAS AAMSP Trailblazing Leadership Summit

APLDS Clock Hour Credit counts toward the 2026-27 School Year

Description:
Sponsored by the Alabama Association for Middle School Principals (AAMSP), both leadership summits will provide a variety of professional learning opportunities for principals, assistant principals, and aspiring school leaders. Session topics include unlocking data and ensuring continuous improvement, engaging in the APLDS Evaluation System, trauma informed education (the link between brain research and behavior), innovative methods to engage stakeholders utilizing multiple public relations strategies, improving school culture by building collective efficacy by raising the volume on all five domains of principal effectiveness, cool tech tools to increase efficiency for administrators, crisis management and school safety, newly tested strategies for school success, and building strong professional learning communities. Summit content will be different at each location.

APLDS Clock Hour Requirements:

Principals and assistant principals must:

  1. REGISTER through the conference link: Click here

  2. Registration in PowerSchool PL will open on July 5, 2026. Please search for Course #346206 on/after this date (click here). (Note: It cannot be found until this date.) REGISTER in PowerSchool PL no later than July 17, 2026.

  3. SCAN IN AND OUT for each session by the required time to track attendance.​

APLDS Clock Hours: up to 6 (based on session attendance records)
