2026 SREB Making Schools Work Conference

APLDS Clock Hour credit counts toward the 2026-27 School Year

Description:

Join us in Nashville, TN July 14-17, 2026, for an unforgettable professional development event.  Engage in four days of meaningful learning, collaboration, and connection as you explore hundreds of sessions on CTE, math, literacy, and critical topics like poverty, trauma, and access to quality instruction—then leave with practical strategies to strengthen your K–12 school improvement efforts and boost student achievement. Enhance your experience by adding the Leadership Learning Community, designed for state, district, and school administrators committed to building stronger school communities through SREB’s Powerful Leadership Practices. You’ll gain access to three tailored pre-conference sessions, exclusive networking events, a deep-dive general session with personalized coaching and action planning, dedicated support from the SREB coaching team, and meals on Tuesday—all designed to deepen your learning and accelerate your impact.

APLDS Clock Hour Requirements:

Principals and assistant principals must:

  1. REGISTER through the conference link: Click here

  2. REGISTER in PowerSchool PL no later than September 30, 2026Click here

  3. POST A response in the Leader Form (will be provided at conference) for the session.

APLDS Clock Hours: up to 12 (based on session attendance records)

Please Note: APLDS Clock Hour credit will be awarded by September 30, 2026.

In order to receive APLDS Clock Hour credit for each session, you must attend the session and post a response to the session in the Leader Form (provided to you at the conference).  In the response, provide how the content can be applied in your school. There is a possibility of 12 sessions.  SREB will receive your session reviews and award credit accordingly.
