2027 CLAS Law Conference

APLDS Clock Hour Credit counts toward the 2026-27 School Year

Description:

Join school and district leaders from across Alabama for the CLAS Law Conference, the state’s premier professional learning event dedicated to education law and policy. Designed for today’s educational leaders, this conference provides timely updates and practical guidance on the legal issues shaping schools and districts. Participants will hear from leading experts in school law as they address topics ranging from student and personnel matters to governance, compliance, policy, safety, and emerging legal challenges. Sessions are structured to provide clear, actionable insights that help administrators make informed decisions, reduce risk, and lead with confidence.

APLDS Clock Hour Requirements:

Principals and assistant principals must:

  1. REGISTER through the conference link: Click here

  2. Registration in PowerSchool PL will open on March 3, 2027. Please search for Course #345355 on/after this date (click here). (Note: It cannot be found until this date.) REGISTER in PowerSchool PL no later than April 30, 2027.

  3. SCAN IN and OUT for each session by the required time to track attendance.

APLDS Clock Hours: up to 5 (based on session attendance records)
