2026 CLAS AAPASS Spring Conference

APLDS Clock Hour Credit counts toward the 2025-26 School Year

Description:

The Alabama Association for Prevention, Attendance and Support Services (AAPASS) State Conference is a premier event focused on addressing the critical issues that impact the wellbeing and academic success of students across Alabama. Through a series of targeted, expert-led sessions, the conference covers a wide range of topics including attendance and truancy, homelessness, mental health, PowerSchool updates, threat assessments, the Helping Families Initiative, Specialized Treatment Centers (STC) and Charter School updates, vaping, suicide prevention, and more. Designed for administrators, counselors, and student support professionals, the AAPASS conference provides up-to-date information, practical tools, and collaborative solutions to help educators navigate the evolving challenges facing today’s students. By fostering knowledge, connection, and proactive strategies, AAPASS empowers education leaders to create safe, supportive, and equitable learning environments for every child in Alabama.​​

APLDS Clock Hour Requirements:

Principals and assistant principals must:

  1. REGISTER through the conference link: Click here

  2. Registration in PowerSchool PL will open on March 2, 2026. Please search for Course #337689 on/after this date (click here). (Note: It cannot be found until this date.) REGISTER in PowerSchool PL no later than March 13, 2026.

  3. SCAN IN for each session by the required time to track attendance.

APLDS Clock Hours: up to 10.5 (based on session attendance records)
