This four-part professional learning series introduces school leaders to Dr. Michele Borba’s Thrivers framework and seven character strengths that support student success: self-confidence, empathy, self-control, integrity, curiosity, perseverance, and optimism. Through readings, self-assessments, collaborative discussions, and practical application, participants examine how these strengths can enhance school culture, student resilience, motivation, and positive outcomes.

The strategies presented and discussed throughout the book study will inspire educators, administrators, staff and school leaders to cultivate the power that lies within them and within their students. The book echoes the beliefs of the author that student voice is power and that power can help them change their lives, the lives of their family, their community, their schools and their world.
